La Tour

A commune with a population of 1290, La Tour is located between Viuz-en-Sallaz and Saint Jeoire en Faucigny.

The village is surrounded to the south by Le Môle and to the north by Lac du Môle. The Lac de L'Oasis, close to the village hall, is a great place to relax and take a stroll. Among its other assets are its local services: pharmacy, bakery/pastry shop, butcher's, bar-tobacco-press, its Taney business park offering 150 jobs, and numerous craftsmen and shopkeepers throughout the area. The town also benefits from the presence of the Dufresne Sommeiller Departmental Hospital and the Four Winds Nursing Home, which, in addition to employing 303 people, offer an indispensable quality service in the interests of families, residents and/or patients.
